My brother, Travis, and his pastor, George Coon, from Kalamazoo, MI are currently visiting me in Berlin but they're only here for 6 days and there's so much they want to do (and EAT!). Yesterday, we had Doener Kebabs (Turkish gyros and a Berlin specialty) for lunch and German food (meat & potatoes) for dinner.
This morning, on the way to our ladies' Bible study (which I taught today), I ate half a croissant. At Bible study, I munched on some of the snacks the ladies provided. After Bible study, while my teammate, Fritz, visited a museum with Pastor Coon, Travis and I spent time in downtown Berlin. We ate lunch at around 1:00 at Travis' favorite Berlin Asian restaurant. We both had a plate of Asian noodles. Lunch #1. After that, we walked approximately 3 miles through the center of Berlin just looking at the sites, reminiscing, laughing and walking off lunch #1. Around 3:30, we stopped and shared around 30 pieces of sushi. We've been talking about eating sushi together for like a year now and have never done it . . . until today. We stuffed ourselves. After that, we went to Starbucks to wash it all down with coffee. Two hours later we went to my teammates', the Dyes, house for dinner and dessert.
I felt like a hobbit today: breakfast, second breakfast, elevensies, lunch, tea, dinner and supper. After these guys leave it's back to the heart-healthy diet I've done so well with up until now. Hey, at least we're walking miles! (It's probably the walking that's making us hungry. Vicious cycle.)

Yet another reason I want to visit Germany!
So funny : ) You are walking a lot though. And sushi? I mean, can you ever really say no to that? HECK NO! : ) I read this post today and thought of you:
