Today. Hot and humid. 85 Fahrenheit. Grumpy. Reading a fantastic book as I ride public transportation all over town. Ate brunch at a French Cafe with an old friend and a new friend. Walked around in the heat. Got hotter and grumpier as the day progressed. All busses taken today had traces of airconditioning! Thankful. Visited JFK School. Went to a friend's house. Sat in front of her fan for an hour. Felt better. Ate sushi. Went grocery shopping. Came home. Tried my new juicer. Funnest thing I've ever done in the kitchen. Got juice everywhere. Apple, pear, orange, pineapple. Tasted delicious. Thrilled with the juicer. Hope to use it 2-3 times/week. Checked e-mail. Read e-mail from someone considering joining Team Berlin for 2-3 years. Exciting. Sat in front of the airconditioner. Watched episode of Everybody Loves Raymond. Laughed. Chilled. Feeling better. Need to go clean the kitchen and wipe up the juice. :-)
