Ever since I got back to Berlin on Feb. 18, the weather has been great (for Berlin). Lately, it's been in the 60s and just gorgeous. I've been walking everywhere and loving it. 65 degrees is, to me, the perfect temperature. I'm sure my corner of heaven will be climate controlled and set at 65 degrees. :-) Anyway, yesterday things took a turn for the worse. I was on the phone with Sharon Wilson last night and looked out the window (obviously for the first time in hours) to find 1-2" of snow on the ground! I think it's snowed here all winter about 2 or 3 times at the most. Berlin doesn't really get snow, so this is noteworthy. I'm bummed too - not because I don't love snow. I most certainly do (scroll down to the Valentine's Day blizzard)! I'm bummed because it's not enough to spit at. Snow in Berlin is just a nuisance . . . especially if you walk and take public transportation everywhere. Oh well. Enjoy the pictures of my yard under an inch of snow and ice which is already melting . . . (Winters in Berlin are so pathetic.)
