Contrast

I took 2 pictures today. Just two. When I got home I realized how ironic the two pictures are when placed side by side.

My grandma, mom and I drove 2 1/2 hours today to get from a church where I was speaking in the morning to the church where I was speaking at night. In route, the fog was so thick and the ground was so white from a recent snowfall of 24", that we drove through a literal whiteout.

The second picture is an attempt to capture a group of 5 deer sleeping near my grandma's church in West Des Moines, IA. The picture, needless to say, did not come out as I had hoped. lol

Oh my goodness. I love those opposing pictures. I am SO thankful that you were safe during the whiteout!

Driving in snow doesn't scare you? It makes me nervous!

All day today you have been on my mind Kristi. I just wanted you to know I was thinking of you. I hope you are doing well! Kaishon and I prayed for you when you were sick. I am going to find a picture of you on facebook and print it out so we can tape it to the refrigerator. You are one of our favorite missionaries! Much love!
